A platform for combined safety and security for European Critical Infrastructures

Motivated by the long-term expected impact of the CIP projects "Convergence of safety and security standards, and the pre-establishment of certification mechanisms".

The platform will support:

  • Combined Risk Assessment Process

  • Combined Safety & Security Catalogue

  • Supporting multi-dimensional decisions on safety and security

  • Ontologies

Contribution to standards and regulations on the protection of Critical Infrastructures

Contributions on different topics:

  • Securing the supply chain in different Critical Infrastructure sectors (air transport, energy, finance, industry, healthcare, telecommunication, water, ...);

  • Guidelines on risk management in Critical Infrastructure Protection;

  • Standards for threat intelligence sharing;

  • EU Standardizations in safety and security;

  • Overcoming the separation between Security and Safety;

  • Links between safety & security and international organizations.
